In Gen. 2: 18 God told Adam not to eat of the tree of good and evil and that he will surely die the day he eats of it.  It wasn’t a physical but a spiritual death. But Jesus was a worthy sacrifice (1 Pet.1: 18-21).  Today we are saved, and as Jesus said to Thomas when he doubted His resurrection, “we are blessed for believing” (John 20:29).

The word of God is the living testament or will of God and it contains information on the inheritance given by God to all His children. The word of God (the Bible) has many great values and these include:       
a. The word of God is quick and powerful (Heb. 4:12)         
b. The word of God is perfect (Ps. 19: 7)    
c. The word of God is sure (Ps. 19: 7)                         
d. The word of God is right (Ps. 19: 8)

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, and everything therein. In God’s creation account, we discover that the creation was a corporate effort between the Godhead – God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit. Just before the end of the early creation of the world, God introduced man with the sole purpose of taking care of His creatures (Genesis 1:26, 2:19-20). This is emphasized in Psalm 115:16 – “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s, but the earth He has given to the children of men”.

One of the Covenant names of our Lord Jesus is Jehovah Rapha, that is, God our Healer. Without doubt, Jesus qualifies to be called the Healer because the Bible says in Isa. 53:5 that “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.” Jesus is not just the Healer, He is the Wounded Healer: In this message, we focus on the Passion of Jesus, the Power of Jesus and the Presence of Jesus in order to understand His role as the Wounded Healer.

 A home is a place of abode. It is the place where a person or a family lives. A Christian home is one where Christ is the foundation, the head and the leader. God is the founder of the home and the family and the first home was started by God in the Garden of Eden. A typical home consists of the father, mother and children.
