Matt 6:25-34 (TLB) God is saying to us to trust Him and refuse to be anxious for anything in life.  Food, drink, clothes are important; He knows we need them but worrying about them does not add moments to our lives.  The birds and field lilies are taken care of by God, but He says we are of more value to Him than these. When we worry and are deeply concerned about what we don’t have, we are not different from the heathen that do not know God.

As we continue the discussion on the topic – Carriers of His glory, we want to focus now on the dimensions of God’s glory. In the beginning God gave every one of His creatures a different dimension of glory. The Bible in I Cor. 15: 40 – 41 talks about the glory of the sun and the moon and the stars. The purpose of God for us in the beginning was to enjoy the fullness of His glory. God used to fellowship with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden without any hindrance between them. After the fall, however, the glory of God departed from them and it has not been the same. Generation after generation, man has continued to seek God in order to enjoy or carry His glory.

In the book of Heb. 11, the Bible provides a few examples of people who enjoyed the glory of God. These include Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua and Rahab. Others include David, Gideon, Samuel and the Prophets. In every generation until now, men and women are still carrying the glory of God. Why do we need to carry God’s glory? What is the purpose of His glory? This is the focus of this message and the Bible provides some information on this in Heb. 11: 33 – 40. 
1. The glory of God makes us to subdue kingdoms (v. 33). The children of Israel subdued many kingdoms on their way to the Promised Land because the glory of God was upon them. Daniel and his friends subdued all their enemies. The glory of God on a man’s life will enable him to subdue the kingdom of darkness

Glory means high renown or fame. It means honor or adoring praise and thanksgiving. Glory also means resplendent majesty or magnificence or great beauty. It refers to the bliss and splendor of heaven. To carry means to transport or conduct from one place to another.
The glory of God represents His presence and there were many people in the Bible who enjoyed the glory of God. There are still many people living today in the world who still enjoy His glory. In the book of Heb. 11, the Bible provides a few examples of people who enjoyed the glory of God. All of these people have some characteristics in common and we want to discuss a few of them.
